Pen & Ink Essentials: Florals, Urban Sketching & More!( 4-week Beginner Workshop)

Ready to explore the world of Pen & Ink and Mixed Media Art?

Join us for a four-week journey into sketching and illustration as we learn to capture florals, architecture, streetscapes, everyday objects, and more using pen, ink, and watercolor. Each week, we'll focus on techniques that help you create expressive sketches filled with depth, character, and confidence.

You'll learn how to use line weight, shading, hatching, perspective, and watercolor washes to bring your sketches to life. From loose floral studies to charming urban scenes, we'll explore how artists use pen and ink to simplify complex subjects and tell visual stories.

We'll begin with the fundamentals and gradually build skills each week, making this class perfect for beginners. All materials will be introduced during the first class, so there's no need to purchase supplies in advance.

Whether you're interested in travel sketching, nature journaling, illustration, or simply learning a new artistic medium, this workshop is designed to help you develop your skills and discover your own sketching style.

We will meet every Thursday from 10am–12pm for four weeks. The dates are listed below, and the price covers all four sessions.
