Mastering Monet: A 4-Week Impressionist Painting Workshop

Step into the world of Claude Monet in this immersive four-week painting course! Perfect for all skill levels, this semi-private class explores Monet’s iconic works, his techniques, and the magic of Impressionism.

Each week, we’ll dive into Monet and the story of Impressionist painting, from his brushwork and color choices to his approach to light and atmosphere. You’ll start by painting a master copy of one of Monet’s famous works to understand his process, then apply those techniques to create your own original Impressionist-inspired painting. We’ll work in acrylics for this class.

Through guided instruction, you’ll learn:

• How Monet captured light and movement
• Impressionist brush techniques and color blending
• The power of loose, expressive strokes

We’ll meet every Thursday evening from 6–8pm for four weeks. The price covers all four sessions.

Dates: March 4, 11, 18, and 25

You’re welcome to bring your own materials, or you can add our artist-grade acrylic kit for $85. These supplies will last long after your class ends, so you can keep practicing and playing on your own between sessions.

The class kit includes:

• 4 oz professional-grade acrylic paint in cadmium red, cadmium yellow, ultramarine blue, white, and black
• Palette knife
• Pad of watercolor/acrylic paper (30 sheets)
• Two Holbein Gold brushes
