Drawing people isn’t about getting every detail perfect—it’s about observing, expressing, and connecting with your subject in your own creative way.

In this 3-week semi-private workshop, we’ll explore the foundations of figure drawing and portraiture through a variety of fun, low-pressure exercises. Whether you’re working in pencil, paint, ink, collage, or a mix of mediums, you’ll learn how to capture the human form with confidence and creativity.

Each week, we’ll focus on different techniques for understanding proportion, gesture, and expression, while also giving you space to explore your personal style. You’ll gain tools to help you “see” more clearly and draw more freely—no matter your starting point.

Bring the materials you love to work with—or reach out and we’ll help you with a beginner-friendly supply list.

You will be asked to bring your own materials to class, but we are happy to send a supplies list if you are just beginning and don't know where to start!  (we will not meet thanksgiving week!)
