June 20-24: Power of the Portrait (Self Portraits & Drawing People) - 6-8 year olds JESSICA REYNOLDS
People have inspired artists since the beginning of time and this camp is all about finding inspiration in the human form. We will touch on art history and talk about powerful, famous portrait paintings and what makes them so alluring. We will also create our own self portraits through different creative mediums: drawing, painting, and Paper-mache to name a few. Last but not least, campers will be introduced to the ‘science’ behind the face and how to best render it using the proportions artists have been using for centuries.
