Intermediate Painting: The Principles of Art (A 4-Week Workshop) September

Come and further your knowledge of the painting by learning the elements and principles of art! Now that you know your tools, paints, canvases and papers better, let's talk about how we create interesting and pleasing paintings! We will review the basics of color theory, technique, and materials -and then dig deeper! This is an intermediate painting class and can be tailored to any medium: acrylic, watercolor, gouache, or more!

We will meet every Tuesday from 6:00-8:00pm for four weeks. The dates are below, and the price covers all four weeks.  

Sept 2, 9, 16 and 23

We ask that you provide your own materials for this class -  we will send you a list of suggested materials after you sign up. This way, you have everything you need to keep practicing and playing on your own between group meetings.

This class is for intermediate painters. If you have taken beginning watercolor or acrylics somewhere else, you are set! You should have a basic understanding of color theory, your brushes, paper, and tools, and some experience painting with watercolor.
