Beyond the Brush: How to Add Texture and Depth to Your Art (3-Week Workshop!)

Come and further your knowledge of painting (of all sorts)! In this class we will experiment with a variety of materials to mix into our paints to create unique, tactile effects. We will learn how different media (think: sand, baking soda, spackle, and more) will transform your artwork, adding layers of interest and dimension! This workshop is perfect for artists of all levels - and in any medium! This is a great course to take if you have already taken one of our introductory courses in watercolor, acrylic, or drawing, and want to expand your creative techniques to bring you art to life in new ways! We will meet every Tuesday from 6-8pm for three weeks. The dates are below, and the price covers all three weeks. 

Nov. 5, 12, 19

For the first day of class, we will provide your materials! Of course bring anything you already have, paint, brushes, and something to paint on - etc. We will experiment and learn, and then you can go  buy what materials speak to you for the next class!

I will send you a list of suggested materials after you sign up. This way, you have everything you need to keep practicing and playing on your own between group meetings.
