I just love love love Alabama Chanin, a Southern fiber artist haling from the deep south (but of course!) and her unique take on clothing.
She is one of they purveyors of no-waste fashion and employes local quilters to sew her fantastical concoctions. I love her All-American hand sewn flag quilts, and hope you do too. Whats better than an American artist who still works with her hands for this very patriotic blog post to celebrate our nations birthday? Why, nothing of course. (Thats why we choose her, duh.)
