I recently took a trip with some girlfriends to California and I have to say, I am completely smitten with the West Coast.
My late spring/early summer jewelry collection's inspiration is drawn from the rugged breath taking drive from Carmel to Hearst Castle. I loved the the beautiful blues of the ocean and the dark greens and browns in the rocks-- you'll be seeing lots of that natural soft color palette in Chouette drawn from that inspiration.
I've also started painting some of the coast. Be on the lookout for those beauties as I roll them out.
If you have not been out there, consider it. It feels very exotic and different from South Carolina!
