Foreign Exchange Students Paint

I was so thrilled when the host moms from students who were visiting from Japan with American students at Christ Church Episcopal School reached out to see if we could host a paint class for their visitors.  I of course said yes, and welcomed the moms and kids to the studio for an afternoon of painting.  The group wanted the kids to paint a very typically southern painting, so they decided on a pretty picture of fireflies in a mason jar.  The kids did a great job!

Painters working hard - the group opted for a 12 x 12 inch canvas to make packing easier

Great job, crew! These Japanese Exchange students will have a great keepsake of the south to take home.

If you are hosting a group of exchange students and want to arrange a private paint party, let us know.

We will hook you up!
