Summer Camps


Our 2020 Summer Art Camps were awesome!
We thank the Greenville community for their participation & support.
We had fun creating & were careful to follow
the recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) so that everyone felt safe.

Morning Camps are from 930am-Noon
Afternoon Camps from 130-4pm
Currently each camp is limited to 8 Spots
(reduced to keep our groups small & allow ample space for social distancing)
Once each camp fills, we will keep a waitlist.
Camps are not refundable but are transferrable to a different week.
We do not accept children under the age of 4.

Cost of all teaching, materials & snacks is included in price for each camp.
Camp cost is $175 per week, unless otherwise noted.
All camps include a daily snack.
(Please pack your own snack if your child has any allergies.)

Cheerleading Camp  FULL!

June 8-12th

930am-Noon

4-6 year olds

This week will be cheerleading and art in a fun, creative way! To top it off, we will even have some high school cheerleaders in the studio to lead us in some cheers.  Come enjoy the best of both worlds: cheering and art! Art Teacher:  Jessica Reynolds. Princess Camp 2020  **1 Spot - just had a cancellation!

One of our most popular ... the name says it all!  This camp is a week of pink, sparkles, and all things girl-y! Our crew will be crafting magic mirrors, crowns, and princess paintings!! Clay Camp  Full!

June 29-July 3

930am-Noon

Ages 6 & Up

Students will learn the three basic processes for hand-building: pinch pots, coils and slabs, and the endless combinations that will help them create individual masterpieces. Each week students will spend time creating works in clay and then the end of the week they will glaze them. Star Wars Mini-Camp  FULL!

June 29-July 1 (3 Days)

1:30-4pm

Ages 7 & Up

Grab your lightsabers and paintbrushes!  In this young Jedi camp, we will be organizing a team of Jedi artists to help make new droids for the alliance, recreating a new galaxy of friends and fleets, all while utilizing those wise words!  Come join the rebellion!  Artist:  Kristin McGivern.  Click HERE!

One Big Painting **For our older kids!

Every good camping trip starts with a campfire, right?  We believe nature’s beauty exists within us and all around us!  In this camp we will be “retreating” to the beautiful outdoors with our paintbrushes, tent and tools in hand as we recreate the beauty of our birds, mountains, butterflies and bugs!  All kinds of creative art during this week of fun!  Art Teacher:  Kristin McGivern. About Our Wonderful Teachers! 

TM Pruitt is from Greenville and currently pursuing her love of art at the University of Georgia.  T.M. attended the Fine Arts Center of Greenville and graduated from Wade Hampton High School 2019.  We love she is home for the summer and  sharing her art with us!

 

Adelle Pruitt is TM's younger sister and just as sweet & talented!  Adelle is currently attending the Fine Arts Center for Visual Arts, as well as attending Wade Hampton High School. Outside of school, she stays busy creating art and playing soccer competively. 

 

Jessica Reynolds teaches our Kids Afterschool Art as well as adult classes at Vino & Van Gogh. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Clemson University and a Masters of Fine Arts in Art and Design from Winthrop University. Kristin McGivern lives in Greenville and has a son & daughter at Blythe Academy.  She is excited to be leading our Summer Camps again this year!   Kristin graduated from Clemson University, and since her own childhood, her art has transpired, changed and traveled with her in various seasons of her life.
