Digital Mixed Media Workshop

We are so excited to be featuring local Greenville, South Carolina Artist, Phil Garrett for a two day workshop on Digital Mixed Media in April.  Phil will be teaching out of the studio on Thursday, April 23rd and Friday, April 24th from 10am-4pm (same times both days.)

This course will center around surfaces for painting and collage created with Golden Acrylic’s Glass Bead Gel, Translucent Molding Pastes, Fiber Paste (paper in a jar), Crackle Paste, and gel mediums more...

The course will also cover mixed media application and layering effects for drawing and painting, including using unique metallic paints, stencils and more.

I got to participate in Phil's Digital Mixed Media Course last year, and this was one of my creations

Phil will cover the new digital grounds that allow transferring your digital images onto a multitude of flat surfaces: non-porous papers, acetate, acrylic skins, even aluminum foil. We will cover some of the technical challenges of working with inkjet printers and explore ideas for incorporating these images in paintings and works on paper .

All paints, mediums and gels provided by Golden Acrylics.
